All Wrapped Up…

Scarves can be a great alternative to necklaces.  We Love Vera has even taken it a step further by taking some of their beautiful scarves and knotting them together to create a beautiful necklace.  You can purchase one for yourself at Anthropologie.  It is perfect for this time of year as we transition out of summer and into fall.  It gets me excited to start busting out all of my scarves.  They are one of my favorite accessories – endless amounts of beautiful options.

Are you a scarf wearer?  Do you wear them year round or more in the cooler months?

The Great Debate…

The last few years we have loved our skinnies.  The years before that (oh my take me back to high school with this thought…) we were loving our wide leg jeans.  Now, there is no need to choose it seems as both are being loved by people from coast to coast and across the world.  Guess that works well for everyone – we get to wear what we like and still be in style.  So, where do you fall out in the great debate? Everyone has to have a preference one way or the other.  In talking to guy friends, they even have a stance.

So what will it be for you?  What makes that cut win for you?  I am all about the skinny.  I can appreciate a good flare or wide leg from time to time, but the classic cut I love is the skinny.

Orange Dream…

As we get closer and closer to fall the richer and deeper colors start to come out.  One color that I keep seeing everywhere I look is orange.  Now, I love orange on the trees when the leaves are changing colors, however I am still trying to figure out how I feel about this trend.  I have been finding some looks with orange that I am liking, but my verdict is still out.  Though, lets be honest – I love bold colors, so I am sure I will be giving this one a fair shot.

So, loves, what do you think of this orange dream?  Are you going to embrace this lovely fall color or leave it for the trees?

Five Loves…

I absolutely love this look.  This has been my favorite go to style for the summer.  I even push the limits at work and will find a way to make this work for the whole two or three hours I work on casual Friday (yes, I work long days earlier in the week to justify leaving early on Fridays…I figure it is summer time so why not…).

I may or may not have ripped open my September issue of Vogue and twirled around my house singing, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year…”  Yeah, you could say that I pretty much love this issue every year.

I have been obsessing over the Who What Wear office space ever since I saw it over at Erin’s Elements of Style Blog.  They are stunning.  I would love to work in a space like that – wouldn’t you kill for an office like that?!

I love everything about this room – from the French script on the rug, to the grey walls and perfect accent pieces.  I would be a happy lady if this was my master bedroom.

I love this dress.  I love this street.  Take me back to LA.  The days have been long recently at work, and oddly enough I have really been enjoying that, but I am getting tired and would love a little weekend getaway to one of my favorites – LA.

What are you loving these days?

Much love,

B

Give Me Texture {Calfskin}…

So, the real reason why I am not a vegan is because I love so many different textures that involve animal skins.  This week’s texture I am loving for fall is calfskin.  The clutch pictured above is a Balenciaga calfskin clutch – just look at how gorgeous that is.  It has such a smooth look and feel to it that has me wanting to wear it this fall.  It look so chic.

How do you feel about calfskin?  Yay or nay?

Much love,

Pumped Up Kicks…

It is one of those weeks where I need a really big pick me up and this song by Foster the People is doing the trick.  Hope it does the same for you, too, loves – even if you don’t need the big pick me up!

Yay for it being the midweek – taking a split moment to breath…okay…back at it I go!

How is your week going?  How do you survive the crazy busy weeks?

Much love,

B
