Long flowing dresses. Better known as the maxi dress trend this spring and summer. I adore it. After a day on the beach soaking up the sun, I love putting on a long flowy dress that does not cling to me but still looks good. With the ocean breeze blowing in, it looks beautiful, too. BUT, maxi dresses are not just for the beach – they work great in the city, too. They are one of those pieces, if paired with the right cardigan you could get away with at the office, then transition into the evening by taking the cardigan off, and add some wedges and fun jewelry to make it a fun night look. Maxi dresses are also a great option for summer concerts – they are fun and flowy, yet protect your legs from getting all dirty. Basically, they are a staple to have in your wardrobe this season – they work with every body type, are comfortable and still leave you looking hot – sounds like an all around winner to me.
I love all of these looks – so many different styles. I just do not think one is going to be enough for me. I have a red and pink maxi dress – but am really loving all the blue maxi dresses. That is what I am hunting for while shopping in Mexico. What are your thoughts on maxi dresses? Love or hate? Guys, what is your take on them?
Much love,
B
