Pretty in Pink…

One of the most girly things I love to indulge in is lipstick. Bright bright lipstick to be exact.

However, I normally will default to bold bright reds.  I love the way they look and bring any look class.  Until recently, when I could not avoid seeing bright pink on the runways and then seeing Love Forever! by MAC – it was love at first sight.  I decided in that moment that I was going to do it – I was going to bust out of my comfort zone and try rocking the pink.  I love that it is not a shiny finish – but more of a matte, which is my personal favorite for most lipsticks, but especially in bold colors.

This lipstick is from a new line MAC just launched a month ago called Pro Longwear Lipcreme.  It has a lightweight texture, creamy finish and comfortable longwear. It has it all. It is so easy to put on and use – no top coat needed for this one!  And it still lasts up to 12 hours (or so they say)!  If you plan on eating or drinking during those 12 hours, I suggest bringing it along in your bad to reapply – that is what I have been doing and it works great.  Though, I have been impressed with how well it does stay on.  The colour stays true and doesn’t dry your lips out – in fact after I have put it on my lips have felt moisturized and soft (but still have a matte finish) – it was a great find.  I have loved all the complements, so I will continue to rock the pretty in pink look…

Do you have any fun lipstick colors you are wearing these days?  Or is there a color you are dying to try?

The Social Network…

So, I am sure you have heard about it by now as everyone is raving about it that has seen it and it was the number one movie at the Box Office last weekend – The Social Network.  It is the story of the creation of Facebook and all the drama that came along with it  This movie was so well done.  David Fincher did a wonderful job directing this movie and creating a true piece of art.  Every scene is thought through and placed just right – the flow is perfect even without time being streamlined.  If you haven’t gone out to see it yet – you should.  It is an epic piece of work for our generation – it may one day be used as a reference to help people understand the break through in social media and how Facebook changed the world.

Have you seen The Social Network yet?  What are your thoughts on the movie?
