Strap Happy…

 

This summer is all about the strappy heel.  A sexy, sleek, minimal look for every woman.  These fabulous sandals do not  have to be paired with a cute little dress, though that is always a great option.  They also look adorable with cuffed jeans and a flowy top.  They transform that casual day look to an evening look in moments.  The only thing you need to make sure with these stunning little shoes is make sure you give yourself a pedicure.  Take the few minutes to put a fun color on your toes – no need to do anything crazy if that is not your style, but you should put something on them.  It will make the strappy sandal look that much more fabulous on your feet!

Five Loves…

 

The perfect spring and summer hat.  I have been on the hunt for one very similar to this – and by on the hunt, I really mean looking at pictures since I have not really made time to go shopping.  I should do something about that.

 

It is almost blueberry season.  That basically means when I get anything in blueberry flavor that I can – it just tastes so good.  I love the rich color of blueish-purple that has the perfect amount of sweetness and bitterness that kiss perfectly.

 

How fun and beautiful are these long maxis?!  They scream spring easing into summer and needing to head to a music festival or stroll around the lakes…or maybe that last part is just my six-month cooped-up self is feeling – either way, I want one of these lovely dresses.

 

These shoes are amazing.  Paired with the super cute pink pants.  Hello spring, I love you and have missed you so is what this stunning combo is saying and I would like to second it – all of it.

 

I love every aspect of Samantha Hutchinson’s whole look here, but especially those pants.  May I please find a pair for my own and then pair them with a blazer and say it is okay for the office?!!  I totally think I could make that work…and if not, who cares?!  They are hot and would be perfect for an evening or weekend look .  Purchase justified?!  I think so.

Lets Get to the Point…

I love a good heel.  It adds some height.  Lengthens out your leg.  And lets be honest, makes every lady look a little bit sexier.  So, naturally I am excited to see that not only is there a heel trending, but pointed heels are trending for this spring.  My favorite!  I have every style of heel, but my favorite is a pointed toe.  It means business.  It is sleek and chic.  It can be paired with a pair of jeans and a tee, and suddenly you have a more feminine chic look.  Love that.  It doesn’t have to be a sky high stiletto  either – lower heels with a pointed toe still look fabulous.  Plus, I love the sound they make when walking down the street or hallways – don’t get in the way of a lady with these heels on or you’ll be sorry.

It’s a Thing {Socks & Sandals}…

 

Socks and heels is a thing, and now this spring the sandals want in on the fun, too.  Especially when it comes to a good pair of Birkenstocks, which as a northern Minnesota girl I am all about.  It also appears this spring the outdoorsy gals will not be the only ones wearing a more hardy pair of sandals, which our feet will love us for, because they are certainly making a statement.  I love that a very natural and practical sandal can be paired with a cute spring or summer look and still be fashionable.  That is what I call a practical fashionista – and we all know we need a day or two like that!

Five Loves…

 

I love her hair.  I love her hair so much that the other night when I laid eyes on it I immediately scheduled a hair appointment for an ombre treatment to my locks.  I have had grown out blonde chunky highlights for son long, it seemed like the best idea to change up my look some.  When I get inspiration, I go with it, instantly.

 

I love tattoos and have been craving another.  Specifically, one on my mid back like this. I would prefer a design similar to this but more with an elephant in it, I know shocking – I want an elephant tattoo.  This is serving as inspiration to get on the designing of my next one…

 

Her look is stylish, chic and simple.  A lovely lady inspiring me this fine Friday.

 

Winter refuses to leave.  So, I am taking this photo and using it as my inspiration to go have fun and play in the snow.  Have to make the most out of everything, right?!!

 

I am absolutely obsessed with these stunning new shoes that I simply had to have the other day when I laid eyes on them.  I still was on the hunt for the perfect Valentine’s Day outfit.  These little gems were the perfect inspiration to be the muse for my whole look, so naturally I had to purchase them – plus, I got 20% off for having on red (which happened to be a pair of Christmas socks due to it being laundry day – worked out well for me)!!

Let’s Cap it Off…

 

Flats or pumps – I am loving a toe that is capped off with a different material.  The most common to see is a gold or metallic.  They are so fun – I seriously cannot get enough of them.  I think I really have been on an extreme shoe kick recently, but all I want to do is buy shoes (do not worry – I have been responsible and refrained) – there are so many stunning pairs out there that would look perfect on my feet.  Plus, this style is fun for the office, but still professional looking and translates into an evening look perfectly.

These Alexander McQueen’s make me speechless.  Love at first sight.

 

And these Christian Louboutin’s are the grown up version of ruby red slippers.  Wouldn’t mind clicking my heels in these.

 

These brightly colored peep toe heels would be perfect for the first spring days.

 

After running around in all those fabulous heels, I am going to need a fabulous pair of flats to give my little feet a break – and these would be perfect.

 

Yes.  Words to live by.  And on that note, I think we may be in need of some retail therapy – starting with shoes.

Peek-a-Boo…

 

Okay, I am not trying to play a little kido game with you, but rather I am talking about socks that peek out just the perfect amount from under boots.  I love the additional layer it adds (not to mention a little extra warmth – very important for those of us in the bitter cold).  It is in those simple little details that complete a look and really distinguish it.  I personally have not been able to get enough of this look recently.

Five Loves…

There is something so beautiful about this photo.  The girl is stunning, but that is not all.  The look in her eyes draw you in and then the soft look on her whole face allows for the red to pop perfectly on her lips.  Love this lovely.

This drawing is amazing.  I love all that it communicates all through a pencil sketch.  A girl filled with so much emotion and words that are right there on the surface, but still stuck inside of you…

Seriously, this is the perfect warm winter day ensemble.  I adore the hat – the big brim to help block the wind.  Then, add the big shawl - divine.

 

I have been obsessing over figs as of late and so naturally this salad grabbed my attention right away.  It looks delectable.

 

How cute are these little booties?!!  I seriously feel like I need these for spring.  I just die.
