This Day…
Oh today. The 26th of December. It is a day I never look forward to, but today I am taking the day off to do some relaxing B things, if you will. So, my loves – with that, tomorrow I will be back talking fashion and around to say hi. Until then, I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas!

They Say It’s Your Birthday…
…it’s my birthday, too!! That’s right, loves, today I turn 27 and enter my late twenties. I love birthdays – there is something fun about getting to have a personal day to reflect on where you have gone in the last year and where you want to go in the upcoming year. Today is also my last day at my current job, which is extremely bittersweet because I love my coworkers, but am extremely excited about the new things to come.

Five Loves…
Life is a canvas, so we shall paint and create beauty. I love what this image captures. And, it totally has me wanting to put my toe shoes on and dance around.
Loving having a new book to read and get lost in, especially since it is a memoir – my personal favorite.
Getting to have time to hang out with one of my best friends and laugh as we catch up on life – that is one of my favorite things in the whole world.
I love this DIY bar cart. The fun retro feel revamped gives it a chic look for any home.
This image so beautifully captures simplicity and peacefulness. Trusting right where she is. There is a contentment she has as she walks away from something, but also to something. I love it.

Frolic in the Sun…
Well, it has been an…interesting week to say the least. So, today I will be enjoying soe quality times with one of my besties and frolicking away in the sun. I cannot wait…and on that, I am off to go soak up the sun.

Lost in a Dream…
Some days, or weeks (okay – or months…even years…yes by now we all are singing the theme song to Friends) just seem to be off. Reality is not really where you want to be for whatever reason. Something in life is hard, work is stressful, relationship drama, you’re feeling burnt out, or maybe all of the above seem to come crashing down at once and a vacation is not really an option – nor is crawling in bed and hoping it all goes away. Those moments are when you will find me most lost in a dream. I know it is not good to escape all the time, but sometimes a little day dream helps get you through those moments. I am there now, and so here is a little glimpse into my day dream…

Night in the Neighborhood…
It has been a beautiful week so I am hoping to get out and enjoy some of this lovely fall weather today. Then I get to have a fun filled evening by simply walking across the street for our neighbors’ house warming party. It is going to be a beautiful night to be out in the neighborhood.

Taking Time to Live…
Mercedes-Benz has come up with one of the most brilliant ads I have seen in a long time. The mind is fascinating. I love this picture of the difference between the left and right side of your brain – and the way they are depicted is perfect. For some it may be clear if they are a left or right brain thinkers – and some (like myself) it is a tougher call. So, today I am going to embrace that I am not certain because I am some of both and depending on my mood lean more to one side over the other. We have the left brain…
And then we have the right brain…
Seriously. I am stumped. I decide and then I contradict myself. So instead of sitting here all day arguing with myself I will take some time to go live and enjoy the fact that I seem to have an ambidextrous brain because…
…and that is what I want this weekend to be about. Living. And inspiration.
