Wear Now and Later…

Do you ever have those pieces that are you go-to all summer long and you maybe are not ready to hang them up come fall?!  If you do, you certainly are not alone.  I could live in maxi dresses – they are so comfortable and perfect for summer because they are nice and light-weight.  They also come in stripes, fun tribal patters, ombre, solids, and let’s be honest – really whatever your fancy is you normally can find a maxi perfect for you.  One fun thing about the maxi is it is the perfect transition piece to enjoy now and later simply by adding the appropriate layer.  Some maxis pair well with a blazer or cardigan, even making it office appropriate, or throw on that perfect for fall bomber jacket – your favorite summer piece paired with one of fall’s greatest trends, you will be looking great come fall.

Will you be transitioning any of your favorite summer pieces into fall?  What is your style secret to keep your favorite pieces around for next season?

Much love,

B

  2. I don’t have a maxi dress, but after reading this I want one!
And I like to wear lots of summer dresses into the autumn by just adding black tights or leggings, boots and a knit cardigan or jacket.
