That’s right, loves. The wedding bells are ringing. Again. It’s been a couple weeks though since the last time. I am excited for today’s wedding – it is a sweet friend who I have known for years now. We did college together, are Thetas together and sister’s in Christ – so I am thrilled to get to see her marry the love of her life. So, I am off – it is an early wedding!

With all the wet cold spring weather, all I can think about is getting a cute pair of Hunter rain boots to go with my new Bendel umbrella. I adore them. I am thinking red, to match my red handle.
With the rain comes fresh flowers. I loved walking down the streets of NYC and seeing all the beautiful fresh flowers – spring is here, my loves.
Sometimes the Olsen’s just get it right. This is one of those moments. Love.

With spring in full swing, it is time to bust out the bike and start enjoying the streets in more freedom. Sadly, my bike was stolen, so first I need to get a new bike and then I can get back to enjoying – which is greatly enjoying in Minneapolis, as we are the number one biking city.

With all the hustle and bustle of NYC, there is still a simplicity that is often found in the city. The lady in a simple silhouette radiates chicness. Simple. Yet still, simply stunning. I love indie music, especailly when it comes from the local scene. Minneapolis is known for having a great local music scene and Polica is a clear reason why. However, they are by no means just on the local scene now – they have blown up and are on a full blown national tour. I love this fabulous quartet and have been playing Lay Your Cards Out on repeat as of late.

Spring is in full affect. Translation – rain is pouring down. I actaully really love rain from time to time. The smell. The way it leaves everything looking clean and fresh. Seriously, my yard was brown and now is looking rather green. The part that does not love the rain – my hair. So, what is a girl to do?! A good umbrella always helps – and it adds a fun accessory to your look. I love umbrellas – you can go with a more classic look, or hey why not have a little fun and play with a crazy pattern. While I was in NYC I was on the hunt for a new one – Bendel’s was my first stop, because after all, I am a Bendel’s girl. Those classic brown and white strips get me every time.

With spring in full swing trends are surfacing for this year. One that seems to be everywhere is the crop top – and not just for the grunge look this year. There are chic ladies taking on this trend in a classy subtle way, with just a little skin peeking through. If you are a fan of the flowy crop tops, but do not love baring your skin for all to see, throwing a cami underneath is always a great alternative to allow you to enjoy the trend.
