You know when you hear that two have done a collaboration and you just think to yourself – what?! Really?? But then you hear it and it may the most brilliant combination of voices ever. Yup – that is pretty much what you have here with The National and St. Vincent as they come together on the Crooked Fingers cover, Sleep All Summer. It is beautiful. I cannot get enough – they have me falling back in love over and over again.

With spring so close around the corner, colors are everywhere. Specifically, the lighter pastels are breaking out. I love the Oscars so much. I meant, really, I love award shows. It is a fabulous time to honor the best of the best from the year – but it is also an excuse for ladies to wear some of the finest pieces of art. The gowns are stunning – especially on the red carpet of The Academy Awards. So many women looked gorgeous last night – though there were a few I did not love, we will focus on the ones I did love…
I am not sure who I would give thee best dressed to, but it may have to be Rooney Mara. I loved her whole look. The clean-cut bangs, the bright red lips, and such a beautiful silhouette for her dress – such a stunning lady. Probably also helps that I loved her in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Did you watch the awards? Who was you favorite? Or who were your few favorites of the night?

Call me a font snob if you must – but I am just saying, Comic Sans is never acceptable in the workplace. Sad part is, I have had to change multiple documents at work to no longer be in this awful font. So, I had to share this as we wrap up the end of our work week.

Fun’s new album Some Nights came out Tuesday and it is amazing. I love it so much. Cannot wait until April 13th to see them in concert again live.
Bright neon nails. Loving the neon craze and would love to have this stunning polish on my nails – at least for a day or two.
I pretty much love everything Olivia Palermo wears – but I am especially loving the royal blue pumps. I am on the hunt for a pair of my own.

Winter is alive and well in Minnesota – have no fear, it has not forgotten us this year. Though, I do not think the snow will last long because it is already warming up a bit and getting slushy. The fresh snow is inspiring the winter whites to come out to play though – I almost forgot how much I loved them. It just would not be a complete winter without some lovely winter whites.

This is the first single, Alone, off of Trampled by Turtles new album, which will be released April of this year. I love them so much – and this song adds to my love. The lyrics are beautiful and let’s be honest, I am always a sucker for a good banjo and violin combo. They make me proud to say I am from Duluth.
