It is the holiday season – and the color we see everywhere is red. It is such a rich, bold color that never fails to pop. Whether it is on your lips, fingers, or all over your dress it is sure to make you chic. Some (like myself) are a fan of the red lips year round, but for those that think it is a little too far out of her comfort zone, the holidays are the perfect time to push that limit. Only red can finish off a look that certain luxirous, glamourous way.
Then there are the nails. A good red for the nails always helps the look. Whether you like the bright true reds or the darker reds, they look great with most looks for the holidays. It is the safest way to work in red to your look to add that holiday cheer without overwhelming yourself – go for it, give it a try. OPI is bound to have a shade of red you like…and you can even try-it on virtually to see what it looks like on nails. Love that.
And men, don’t feel left out – you can add red to your look, too. For a more casual daily look go for the deep burgandy henley or for a festive night out on the town wear a classic deep red button down. The key for guys is to stick to the deeper, darker shades of reds. The bright reds on men can be a little much…just trying to help you out!
So, whethere you are a man or a woman be sure to try on some red – it will at the very least help you look festive. Are you a fan of red? If so, to limit your red to nails or to you fully indulge and let red take over your look?
Much love,
B
